You were in the meeting with the whole team. You all agreed on the next steps. Then,
somehow...that email shows up which begs the question, "Was he even in the same
meeting?" We have all been in those situations, right?! We spend so much time
worried about saying the right thing that we often forget to focus on what the other
person heard. Statistically speaking, people hear only a fraction of what we say which
leads to misunderstandings, unfinished tasks, and hurt feelings.

Bio: I am Dr. Stevie Dawn Carter and I am a human behavior NERD. Yep, you
heard that right. Whether in my work as a sociology professor, non-profit
leader, or emotional intelligence expert, I spend every day-all day
focused on understanding human behavior. Through my educational
background and work experience, I have discovered strategies and tools
to help leaders at all levels.
Today, people hire me to unleash their unstoppable success because
most are stuck with unlived aspirations, unrealized profits, and
underwhelming results. Through engaging keynotes, impactful training
sessions, and one-on-one coaching, I encourage people to step into their
greatness, both personally and professionally. With over 20 years of
teaching and training experience, I use stories and humor to keep every
participant engaged.
